I recently had the pleasure of photographing 5 lovely ladies visiting NYC from California. They came to town to run around a la Sex and the City complete with shoe shopping, Cosmos, and night time fun in the Meatpacking District.
One of them was celebrating her big 5-0 and at one point while I was photographing them on the sidewalk they started shrieking with delight – because they looked over and realized that the apartment they rented for their stay was number “50″ – so that became the inspiration for the collage below.
They had a ball and did Sarah Jessica proud. I’m glad to have been a part of their special occasion!
